TASTING NOTES:
The 2023 Gigglepot Cabernet dazzles with its bouquet of forest fruit, blackcurrant, and subtle notes of freshly roasted coffee. On the palate, it reveals complex layers of blackberry, cigar, and spice, enhanced by a rich chocolate cream undertone. With its delicate tannins and smooth finish, this Cabernet offers a joyful and satisfying experience in every sip.
TECHNICAL NOTES:
The grapes were grown on the Rivers Lane vineyard in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 77% American and 23% French oak, using 49% new and 51% one year old barrels. The required Marquis Fruit Weight™ for the Family Series is 75% – 85%. The actual fruit weight for 2023 Gigglepot is 78%.
